Ontario opens $7 million seniors community grant intake

Ontario opened applications October 27 for its $7 million Seniors Community Grant Program, allowing eligible nonprofit organizations, municipalities and Indigenous governing bodies to seek up to $25,000 for local projects supporting older adults. Applications close December 17 for the 2027 to 2028 intake, which includes an additional $1 million designated for programs serving senior veterans.
