BC Court Strikes Broad Pandemic Lawsuit Without Leave to Amend

In Action4Canada v British Columbia, 2026 BCSC 1974, the BC Supreme Court struck the plaintiffs’ further amended pandemic measures claim without leave to amend. The September 24 decision found that the pleading failed to state material facts supporting viable causes of action. The judgment’s cover page was corrected on October 15, not newly decided on that date.
