BC Financial Services Authority issued a $10,000 administrative penalty notice and required remedial education after finding that real estate licensee Rajvir Singh falsely advertised a deal as collapsed before the subject removal period ended and falsely suggested another offer existed to redirect a buyer toward the seller's family friend. The notice, which remained subject to reconsideration, shows how misrepresenting offer status can breach a licensee's duty to exercise reasonable care and skill.
