The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions issued its annual property and casualty reporting letter on October 22, 2026. Although the PC1, PC2, PC3 and PCPROV returns are unchanged for Q4 2026, OSFI's revised forms will reflect the implementation of IFRS 18 beginning in Q1 2027 for insurers whose fiscal year ends in December. Those with an October fiscal year end will begin using the new forms in their Q1 2027–28 filing period. OSFI says the PC4 minimum capital return is unchanged for Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
