Useful knowledge becomes more valuable when people bring their experience together. Binder AI connects what members learn in their businesses, professions and communities with verified Canadian research, practical education and original contributions.
AI here means Active Intelligence. This is a member participation initiative, not an artificial intelligence chatbot or permission to share another person's private information.
The strength of the community
Our first collective mission is now open: The Canadian Insurance Coverage Map. Submit public sources for Folio review, earn an individual publication unlock after two approved contributions, and help complete a verified research collection for participating members.
A court decision that changes an employer's obligations, an insurance issue that surprises a contractor, or a lesson learned from a difficult business decision can help another member understand the problem before it reaches their own doorstep. Binder's contribution is to organize and verify that knowledge, preserving the differences between jurisdictions and circumstances. Members decide whether they wish to take part.
Share a useful perspective
Eligible members can develop original articles, identify an important issue or contribute to a reviewed educational discussion. Publication and payment are never automatic.

The existing member referral programme awards 30 Counsel credits when a properly attributed new member activates a qualifying paid Binder membership.
Participate in attributable earnings
Approved human contributors can share in verified net revenue from work enrolled under Binder's existing Contributor Share terms. Reading articles or creating an account does not itself create earnings.
How financial participation works today
Binder already has distinct benefits for verified referrals, approved original writing and certain University achievements. Each operates under its own eligibility and settlement rules. There is no general cash payment for page views, ordinary logins, discussion volume or the submission of private Matters. Our inaugural mission now awards non-cash reading access for independently approved contributions. No cash or subscription-fee credit is issued for ordinary use.
Read the published Contributor Share terms or review rewards associated with your own account. A trial account does not qualify for contributor revenue sharing without the required membership or personal invitation.
Privacy stays with the member
A private Binder Matter is not a community submission. University contributions require separate, affirmative Matter-level permission and the applicable de-identification and review process. Counsel communications and lawyer work product are excluded. No one should submit confidential, privileged, proprietary or identifying material without proper authority, and nothing is shared merely because somebody joins Binder AI.
Participation is voluntary. Newsletter consent and eligibility for editorial revenue sharing remain separate decisions. Members can use Binder without contributing to the shared knowledge repository.
