The Natasha Mortimer Bursary

The Natasha Mortimer Bursary was created in memory of Natasha Mortimer, a registered nurse from Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on August 23, 2011, at the age of 35. She was a mother, a nurse, and a person who deserved better from the systems that were meant to support her. This bursary exists in her name.

One hundred percent of net enrolment revenue from this program funds this bursary annually. It is open to Canadian healthcare workers and students in direct care roles. Eligibility is by self-declaration. No documentation is required.

The recipient is selected every year on June 7th.
