Binder Contributor Share

When your work creates value, you should share in it.

Original reporting and thoughtful guest writing help people discover Binder. Approved human contributors can receive a clearly defined share of revenue directly attributable to their work. Views alone never generate a fictional payout.

How the share is calculated

Direct article tips80%Of net receipts after verified payment costs and refunds
Advertising alongside an article50%Of traceable net advertising revenue, when advertising is enabled
First paid subscription attributed to an article25%Of the first verified net payment only, not renewals
One time content purchases70%Of verified net receipts, if this product is offered

Who can contribute

Binder Sole, Pro and Enterprise members, Binder University account holders, and subscribers to either paid Binder Intelligence tier may submit original work without a separate contribution charge. There is no free contributor account. A general sign-in or Binder trial is not enough. Revenue sharing remains available to eligible, verified contributors under an approved agreement.

Fair, attributable and independent

Revenue is attributed to an article only when there is a verifiable transaction and a credible link to that publication. Processing costs, applicable taxes, refunds and disputes are deducted before the share is calculated. Advertising and paid content sales aren't counted unless those products actually generate attributable receipts.

Only approved human contributors with an accepted agreement may earn a share. Fictional editorial personas, automated content and unverified bylines aren't eligible. Editorial decisions remain independent of payment, and participation never guarantees publication or income.

New earnings normally have a 30 day settlement hold. Approved payouts require a verified payment account, tax details and a minimum eligible balance of $25 CAD. The dashboard separates unverified receipts, estimated earnings and approved payments. Rules apply prospectively from an article's enrolment, not automatically to historical revenue.

Contributors grant Binder agreed publication rights while retaining the underlying intellectual property as set out in their signed terms. Public bylines do not identify private ownership, payment identities or editorial administration.
